Questions Made Up By Me That I Pretend Are Frequently Asked
Q: How does this all work?
2. Let's talk about the project and go over the brief.
3. You give me three days (although I'll never turn down more time if you've got it).
4. I give you three more ideas.
Q: Then what?
That's it! If you want to take the ideas and have your internal team run with them? Awesome. If you want to contract me to do another round of revisions or some full executions? Even better.
Q: Why are you doing this?
First off, I love coming up with surprising, original, interesting ideas. It's literally my job. But having run creative departments and ad agencies, I know first hand the pressure to come up with something great for a pitch or a client project. If I can parachute in, add some ideas to the mix, and give you and your teams a little breathing room, then we're all winning.
Q: What kind of ideas am I getting?
My specialty is big, conceptual brand advertising, but I have plenty of experience in all media. Need three theme options for your event? Sure. Want three interesting frameworks for your content? I got you covered. Looking to stand out on social media? I've got some ideas. (Three to be precise).
Q: So are you giving me ads or what?
You get three big ideas for whatever you need, executed in the best way to get the idea across - essentially first round concepts. I'm a writer, not an art director, so they'll be more in written form than fully designed, but I can usually mock up something rough. We can talk about what format will work best for your client.
Q: How do I know if you're any good?
I have 30 years of experience coming up with ideas for some of the biggest brands in the world. You can check out some of my work here.
Q: What's all this cost?
A flat $3500.
Q: Have you done this before?
Yes! In fact at several agencies I worked for, I launched "One Big Idea" - where we'd pick a client and have everyone think of one, big, nothing-is-out-of-bounds idea that would help grow the client's business. Clients were thrilled and I loved using my creativity in unexpected ways. So now I'm bringing it (3x) to the masses.
Q: What if I need you for something other than three more ideas?
I'm always down for other kinds of interesting work. Let's chat.
Q: Why three?
